Girls² (pronounced girls girls) is an 8 member Japanese idol group created from the Girls x Heroine series. First announced on March 29, 2019 during Magical²'s special live in Osaka, the group was revealed to consist of 1 member from Miracle², 4 members from Magical², and all 3 members of Mirage². They belong to the joint management business "SL Square LLP" by LDH JAPAN and Sony Music Labels under the collective name "GL² Family" with their sister group Lucky².
The group debuted on June 26, 2019 with the single "Daijoubou". Not too long after this, Ran Ishii was added to the group as the official 9th member. Her addition came a little after she had already joined Mirage2 as their 4th member.
On February 7, 2023 it was annouced that Ran would graduate from Girls² at the end of March that year to "achieve her goals from scratch". Ran offically left the group on March 31, 2023.
All members are EXPG graduates and were main characters in the Girls x Heroine series.
